Grateful Dead For Dummies – Strangers Stopping Strangers

Given the exciting news that has surfaced regarding the Grateful Dead’s 50th Anniversary celebration, I thought it might be time to write about the good ole Grateful Dead shows and community, in an effort to enlighten the new passengers on the bus.  My hope is that this series of posts will improve upon the coming experience in Chicago, maybe even instill some of the hippy values in those attending.  This world can sure use more hippy!  Last post:  Click me

Might like to ride it just one more time …

No big hurry, what do you say

Might as well travel the elegant way

You sent in for mail order, now what?  Feeling the excitement?  Yea baby, right there with you.  Now is the time for positive energy, in fact it’s always time for groovy vibes.  Stay lifted, listen to your favorite shows, set the mood for a real good time.  Together, let’s envision ourselves there, smothered in family love, soaking it up like a sponge.  Light the candles, curse the glare – manifest yourself surrounded by thousands of Deadheads dancing in the sun.  Burn some sage, pay homage to the ticket gods, build or add to an existing shrine.  It’s gonna be awesome, see the light?
Let go and Let Jerry ….

It can ring like fire when you lose your way …

Did you get derailed, lose your way?  Try to go with the flow, let the interwebz banter flow through you.  Ain’t no time for rumors and gossip, ain’t no time for hate.  If you get confused, listen to the music play – crank this up, or this.
~ Om Shanti ~

Some come to laugh their past away

Some come to make it just one more day

Let it grow, let it grow, greatly yield

Comments always welcome and appreciated, kindness counts. Peace and Love, see you at the show!
